This is an extract from the screen play with the working title "The Runner".

The only thing I was involved with on this project was acting, but it's just too good not to show here!

Sex and Death This short extract from the show "Sex and Death" was acted by Marrion Bennet in the Longmont Theatre Company. This was something Marrion  had always wanted to do and as we where rehearsing the show "The Curious Savage" we decided to throw this together.

Interlude This was a short video that Tom Lewis and myself worked on many years ago. Tom wrote, directed and shot this video. I'm to blame for the video editing (my first attempt).

Interestingly, the outside shots up to the point where I enter the Cafe where shot 1 full year before the inside. (We both became incredibly busy) So my entire "costume" hung in my closet for all that time.

Front Range Slide Show

This Video was originally producted for the Modelbuzz web site.

It shows some of my photography and of course it is to music (The Who - Who am I?).

Word of warning. This video does contain nudity of the wonderful kind and should only be viewed by over 18's.

This is "R" rated.

Morphing the Art This video is an example of morphing at work. A local artist named Allison Furr-Lawyer provided me with a series of photographs of her art and I set to work.

Geese of Longmont Sister Cities Goose by Beau Townsend and Lory Ohs

Sister Cities Goose by Beau Townsend and Lory Ohs, 2002. One of the Geese from the Geese Galore! project has joined the AIPP collection. Sister Cities Goose displays the relationship between Longmont and our two Sister Cities, Chino, Japan and Guzman, Mexico. Inside the Civic Center, 350 Kimbark St.

This video shows all the Geese that where prepared by local artists  for this event. I used morphing between all the geese in the final segment.

All of the Geese where auctioned of at the "Art in Public Places" and the proceeds went to many a 401-c-3 in town.

Many of these Geese still exist and live in Longmont and can be found around town.

In a Pig's Valise This wonderfully quirky little piece was filmed with a wonderful actress going by the name Sara Hoover. We filmed this over a two day period in her appartment and then at the wonderful bar in Longmont called Cheers.

The second half of this piece is Sara's favorite monologue from In a Pig's Valise.

Cosmic Dancer This piece original started life as a simple shoot of Jill (our dancer) for a piece that was successfully premiered at the 2004 Art as Action called “The Box Piece”. Looking at the dance imagery that I had captured the next logical step was to create a standalone video. This is my first attempt to work with dance and hopefully not my last.

Director - Nigel Aves

Concept & Producer - Joe Ramas  << original "The Box Piece"

The Dancer - Jill Leversee

Original Music - Derick Disterhoft

Digital Editing - Nigel Aves  << This standalone version

Mortal Legacy

Mandy Godown originally conceived this as a theatre piece for the 2004 Art as Action, but because of time constraints we never actually did the “full” version we both ended up “seeing”. This re-edited standalone version melds 450 still shoots with movie imagery and highlighted by the score will take you on a journey to the depths of your mind.
