This is not a paid advertisement, but I wanted to write up my local watering hole as its worthy of a visit if you are ever in Longmont, Colorado, its even more worthy of a visit if you live in Longmont Colorado! Here we are having a nice quite drink as friends should do, as you can see we all dress fairly casually and try hard not to stand out in a crowd!
Its not a large place but has that nice friendly atmosphere that every good "pub" should have. I've been around a bit (nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more Squire) and this place is high on my list of "favorite" places. It has a couple of pool tables and a large back room where bands play on some Friday and Saturday nights. You'll be well looked after by Sandy the owner (can you spot Sandy in the photo) and if she is not their the bar staff will cater to your every need. Well, not your every need but at least your drinking pleasures.

Thursdays .... Karaoke Night |
Sherri comes in every Thursday night and dutifully sets up the equipment so that "us" locals can make a few cats howl in the evening. The show is well run and they make sure that we are all given a fair chance. So, if you want to have some fun or just see me make a fool off myself. COME ON DOWN. Starts at 8:30pm.
p.s. Cheers was voted the Number 1 Karaoke Bar in Longmont .... Personally I vote it the #1 bar in Colorado !!

Different bands and musicians come in on a Friday and Saturday night, its best to phone the bar to find out what is upcoming.
You can find Cheers at 3rd and Main hidden away beneath pavements of Longmont, there is good parking around the back; on the street or in the car park.
